SCADA
Scada defined as “Data Based Control and Survey System”, is a businesses and facilities active equipment control system. Can be utilized in various fields such as electrical, water and gas grids, industrial plants, traffic signal systems, public transportation systems.Scada systems started with internal station control mechanisms, later advanced in local networks, nowadays developed to systems providing immense movement online. Now, they enable real-time viewing of all equipment and intervention. Connecting to remote control units (RTU), they provide the implementation of need based and defined functions. This can be a simple open/shut function, or a more sophisticated algorthytm. SCADA systems can also be designed as autonomously deciding and applying systems. It can immediately respond to changing dependencies of an enterprise or facility or set an alarm.
