CITY CENTER FIBER OPTIC INFRASTRUCTURES

Topaz is building since 1997 broad-scale city center fiber optic communication infrastructures.
 
As a cable TV operator, Topaz has been constructing and operating between the years 1997 and 2006 city scaled and end consumer oriented Hybrid (Fiber-Coax) cable TV infrastructures in Kayseri, Gaziantep, Balıkesir, Tekirdağ and İzmir. In 2007 Topaz focused on applying fiber-based new generation telecommunication infrastructures.
In 2010, as a first in Turkey, Topaz has realized a city-wide GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network ) project with an outreach of 300 km and 80.000 HP (Home Passed) capacity for Superonline Gaziantep.
